The Ram's Head Tavern, Savage Mill

The Ram’s Head branches out…
The Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis is known for bringing in national talent, and now they are bringing great local musical talent to Savage, Maryland, with their newly renovated dinner and entertainment club in the Old Savage Mill.  This is especially critical while Main Street in Ellicott City is being rebuilt after the fire, and Michael’s has gone sour on the blues.  The location is just off of Route 1, about ¼ mile south of MD 32, or about 10 miles north of Laurel.  There is a gas station and Wendy’s on the corner of Rt 1, and it’s also near Carmax.  Follow the dimly lit brown signs for Historic Savage Mill.  If you haven’t been there, Savage Mill has a collection of antiques, boutiques, and working artists, and a great French bakery, open during the day, in addition to a small cafeteria and the Ram’s Head Tavern.  The Paulverizers played there in April, and had a great time.  There is great food and an excellent beer selection, as well as other libations.  The band will probably play from about 9 pm to 1 am.  The phone number is 301-604-3454.
